| About Me |
Coldwell Banker Northern California Berkeley Office |
Born in the Bay Area, I grew up in the South Bay, attended Stanford University, and have lived in Berkeley for thirty years. I know East Bay communities and neighborhoods from personal, professional, and community involvement over three decades. I specialize in Berkeley, Oakland, Piedmont, Albany, El Cerrito, Kensington, and San Leandro.
I believe that open communication is the key to successful results and client satisfaction. The information I gather from listening carefully to my client's wish list is the motivating force behind every real estate transaction. In the words of recent clients, "Kathie's diligence and attention to detail was just what we were looking for. And she was even more excited about our house than we were!" I am committed to providing my clients with enthusiastic, thorough, innovative, and professional representation.
My community involvement has included serving on the boards of The East Bay French American School, The College Preparatory School Parents Association, and The Pacific Mozart Ensemble. While serving as the President of the Board and Executive Director of The Pacific Mozart Ensemble, I collaborated in the production of concerts throughout the Bay Area. I continue to sing with the Ensemble. The chorus had a very exciting year for its 25th Anniversary Season in 2005/2006. We were nominated for a Grammy for a recording of the Bernstein Mass with Kent Nagano and we performed at Carnegie Hall with Meredith Monk. I am a member of the Board of Directors of the Berkeley Association of Realtors.
In December 2010, I was honored to be named the Realtor of the Year by the Berkeley Association of Realtors.
